Why is there a withdrawal hold on my account?
For security purposes, Argo places a withdrawal hold on funds deposited via ACH to protect your assets and prevent fraudulent activity on the platform.
Argo requires a minimum 10-business-day waiting period on all ACH deposits in order to mitigate the risk of customers reversing their ACH transfers. During this period, you cannot withdraw any amount equal to your ACH deposit, whether in cash or precious metals. This policy applies to every ACH deposit, regardless of your customer status, and the waiting period cannot be shortened.
If you need faster access to your funds, consider depositing via wire transfer. Wire transfer deposits are typically available for trading and withdrawal within 1–2 business days.
